Taylor’s mom Melissa Hofacker shared this information about her daughter the Spring High School freshman.

“Taylor started softball in the U10 group for Spring Valley. She was 8 years old and she has been playing ever since. Starting at the age of 10 she started playing the fall season for Hudson and has done that for the past 5 years,” said Melissa.

She also reported that in the spring of 2018 Taylor chose to play travel league Softball for Hudson and played approximately 40 games between mid-May to late July.

Taylor’s U14 team qualified to play in the Nationals tournament in Chisago Lakes, Minnesota last July where they took 5th Place. The girls honed their skills playing around 40 games over the summer in the Twin Cities area.

It was in July that Melissa Hofacker saw on Facebook the Softball Youth page calling for nominations and decided to fill it out. Taylor got accepted in September.

This is exciting, as Taylor’s team will be comprised of girls from all over the country. The teams are guaranteed a minimum of four games at the Softball Youth All-American Games.

Taylor is also in HS volleyball and basketball and will start HS softball in March for SV and plans to play travel league for Hudson again over the summer.

Taylor is a huge animal lover and is planning to go to college for large animal veterinary medicine and play softball of course!
