BALDWIN, WI – The Baldwin-Woodville High School has begun to select a “Student of the Month” from each of the four grades. This award is new to recognize students that go above and beyond in the classroom. They will be selected by staff at Baldwin-Woodville High School to be named as a “Student of the Month.”

“We have discussed student of the month at the HS for some time.  We felt that we should celebrate our kids when we can and this venue gives us an opportunity to do so.  We will have a different department select students each month of the school year.  We are very proud of our kids,” said Principal Dave Brandvold.

Here are the four students named as the February Student of the Month:

9th grade - Alex Knegendorf serves as a great role model for his peers, always striving to do his best, offering insightful class contributions, and most importantly, his willingness to help fellow students.  Alex is eager to learn and exemplifies a strong work ethic, both in and out of the classroom.

11th grade - Jack Lavelle applies himself as a dedicated student that showcases a curiosity for learning and creative thinking. He willingly assists his classmates as a reliable resource in the classroom. Jack's positivity, initiative, and cooperative-demeanor make him an enjoyable student to have in class each day.

12th grade - Natalie Maino has all the characteristics of an outstanding High School student: possess high intelligence, has an exceptional work ethic, includes a natural curiosity, pays special attention to detail, is an excellent communicator, and is self-motivated.  It is without fail that she is deserving of this special recognition.
