SPRING VALLEY, WI – National Library Week, April 7-13, 2019, is an annual country-wide celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries, librarians and library workers play in transforming lives and communities.

They are no longer just a place for books; libraries have expanded beyond their traditional roles and provide more opportunities for community engagement and the delivery of new services that connect closely with their community’s needs. Libraries are at the heart of their villages, cities, towns, schools and campuses. They have public spaces where people of all backgrounds can come together and connect.

Please join us at the Spring Valley Public Library in celebrating National Library Week 2019, with a special promotion that supports this year’s theme: Libraries = Strong Communities. Libraries across St. Croix County have partnered with area businesses to provide library cardholders unique offers and discounts. (The Village of Spring Valley is located in both St. Croix and Pierce Counties, just in case you were wondering.)

Now your library card not only saves you money by borrowing things for free, but also provides you with great discounts at local businesses during National Library Week.
