SPRING VALLEY, WI – Come celebrate “Christmas in the Valley” with the Spring Valley Royalty on Saturday, December 8, from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m.

The Second annual lighted Christmas in the Valley Parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. and run along McKay Avenue from the school bus garage to the Spring Valley Community Center.

Family friendly activities will begin immediately following the parade, inside the community center. Activities will include: visits with Santa, story time with the Spring Valley Royalty, cookie decorating, craft making, chili tasting and of course plenty of hot cocoa to warm up after a chilly evening of Christmas cheer! This is a free event for the whole family and we hope you will come celebrate this magical time of year with family, friends and neighbors! Last year's event was a wonderful success for our first ever holiday parade and was enjoyed by young, old and in between… help us make this year even better, brighter!

The Spring Valley Royalty is still looking for anyone who might be interested in participating in the lighted parade… please contact Lisa Wood at svroyaltywi@gmail.com to register. Everyone is welcome to enter… churches, clubs, choirs, royalty, individuals, businesses and community members.

Once again this year, the Spring Valley Royalty will be awarding prizes, generously donated by area businesses to the best decorated home and business. Eligible homes and businesses must be within the city limits. So, get decorating!
