SPRING VALLEY, WI – Please be aware that an error of omission was made in reports describing the Spring Valley Seniors Staying Put Football Fundraiser in the July 14, 2016 Sun-Argus edition. There was tremendous support from village merchants, including 13 generous supporters.

Valley View Eye Clinic (Gary Lukes), MOSES (Midwest Organic and Sustainable Education Service), and Claudia Traynor, CPA were omitted as significant donors. We truly regret this error! Please accept our apologies.

After the article was submitted, a donation from Bob McMurrin and MBS Sports was also given to Spring Valley Seniors Staying Put (SVSSP), we’d like to acknowledge and thank them for their generosity as well!

Additionally, we’d like to take the opportunity to thank sponsors for the kids: George and Shelly Ibach, Joyce Borgerding, Gary and Margy Balwierz, Sara Taylor, Babette Lightner, and Suzanne Baker.

And last but not least, a huge “thank you” to retired NFL quarterback Sage Rosenfels for donating his time and talent to our “Football Fun” Clinic.

Financially, the event was a success precisely because of all the community contributions, and because 32 kids had the opportunity to be engaged with Rosenfels.

SVSSP would like everyone to know that our virtual office is set to be replaced by a physical office, allowing for smoother operation and assuring errors, such as that made recently, are not repeated in the future. We are very grateful for the support of all our sponsors; you are important to us, and we look forward to an ongoing relationship. Thank you very much for your understanding.
