WOODVILLE, WI – Santa arrived on a United Fire and Rescue truck with lights and siren announcing his arrival in Woodville for his annual visit with Mrs. Claus to his Workshop last Saturday, December 8, 2018. The weather was decent for Santa and Mrs. Claus to entertain about 350 happy children and their parents for a three-hour visit from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Woodville Lions Den/Community Center.

    SPRING VALLEY, WI – The 2nd Annual Christmas in the Valley celebration was a huge success last Saturday, December 8, 2018! It kicked off in the afternoon with a chili feed, held by the Spring Valley Royalty: Miss Spring Valley Alexis McGrane, 1st Princess Rebecca Schneider and Princess Rachael Bell to determine the “Royal Chili Champion,” it was Princess Rachael Bell by the people’s choice.

  • Baldwin man charged with wire and mail fraud

    MADISON, WI – A federal grand jury in the Western District of Wisconsin, sitting in Madison, returned the three indictments on Wednesday, November 28, 2018.  You are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. One of the indictments returned was for a man from Baldwin, Wisconsin.

    NEW RICHMOND, WI – Last year, the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Department volunteered to continue the 30-hour Red Kettle bell ringing tradition at County Market in Hudson, Wisconsin.  They volunteered for 30 hours of bell ringing to continue to help The Salvation Army of St. Croix County/Grace Place raise the needed funds to help the homeless and others in need.

They were excited to mingle with some new courts, and Driver Dutch did a nice job lighting up his truck for them.
