Submitted by Chief John R. DuBois, Spring Valley Police Department

SPRING VALLEY, WI – The Spring Valley Police Department has restructured its staffing effective February 2, 2019. The agency has moved from 1 full time officer (Chief DuBois) and 2-3 part time officers to 2 full time officers serving the Village of Spring Valley. Spring Valley Police completed a hiring process in January 2019 and Officer Madison Bryan was hired full time.

Officer Bryan was hired part time in September 2018 and was working 32 hrs/wk. She comes to us with previous experience as a Limited Term Employee (LTE) Conservation Warden with the Wisconsin DNR. Officer Bryan is a Hastings native and has a Bachelor Degree in Environmental Law Enforcement from UW-Stevens Point.

The Village of Spring Valley has not had two full time officers in a number of years and the restructure was done to give more solid staffing to the community and have limited officers so the community can get to know each officer better.

Please welcome Officer Bryan to the community if you have not already had the opportunity to do so.
