Return is scheduled for 4pm, in time to join everyone at the Legion for the Ham Shoot and Gun Raffle.

The evening will also feature grilled burgers prepared by the Auxiliary, meat raffles for turkeys and fresh hams, along with a Gun Raffle which includes a Henry .45 - 70, made in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, a .50 Caliber Knight Muzzleloader, a Benelli SuperNova Steady Grip 12 Gauge, an American Precision by Ruger .22LR, a His & Hers Package that includes a Smith & Wesson Military & Police 9mm and a Smith & Wesson Military & Police .380 EZ Shield, and a Glock 19 Gen 4 9MM Pistol. And last, but not least, over 40 door prizes!

Due to the overwhelming response and generosity of the sponsors and area residents, more door prizes have been added - each with a value of $25 or more. Door prize tickets will be available the evening of the 13th. In addition, each pre-purchased gun raffle ticket includes a complimentary door prize ticket.  A special Veterans Raffle will be held at 7 pm. Every veteran that is present at the Ham Shoot will receive a complimentary raffle ticket for a drawing for a Ruger rifle.

Ladies, First Responders, and the Kids Raffles will also take place for those in attendance. And don’t forget the Deck of Cards Drawings for a Chiappa 1911 .22 with two magazines, a Ruger American Camo 10/22, a Ruger American Stainless 10/22, and crossbow with scope and bolts.  Every purchased card also comes with a free drink.

Winners of the Gun Raffle need not be present to win.  Door Prizes will be awarded to attendees on Saturday evening.  Raffle tickets are available at area businesses or call: Keith Albrightson 715-556-2220 or Jerry Johnson 612-716-6327.

A number of community projects and services have benefited from the proceeds of Post 301 Legion and Auxiliary raffles which include donations for training for a veteran service dog, and to the Viking Middle School Wood Shop, the trap shooting club at Baldwin-Woodville High School, the Woodville Historical Society, the Boy and Girl Scouts, multiple B-W High School scholarships, Turning Point, and donations toward the purchase of a van for the St Croix County Veteran Services.  Once again, the tremendous support of local communities have made these and future donations possible.

The American Legion is the USA’s largest wartime veterans’ service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow service members and veterans.
