BALDWIN, WI – Adoray Home Health and Hospice is pleased to announce that they received a $25,000 grant from the Otto Bremer Trust. These funds will be used for the development of an in-home Mental Health and Substance Abuse program.

Adoray Home Health and Hospice is expanding services to include mental health care needs such as medication management, education, and to assess patient’s mental health and stability. Then we hope to offer in-home mental health and substance abuse services for patients who do not have transportation to get to traditional services or are homebound.  The initial phase of this program is currently being developed and hopes to be implemented later this year.

"Our goal with this program is to partner with the community to ensure we are offering a service that will meet a community health need," said Kelsey Derrick, CEO of Adoray Home Health and Hospice. “Adoray provides health care services to patients anywhere they call home throughout northwestern Wisconsin. This new service will allow us to expand our services to patients suffering from mental health and substance abuse by doing what Adoray does best—in-home health care.”

“Helping meet essential community health needs is an important component of the mission of the Otto Bremer Trust,” said Charlotte Johnson, co-CEO and trustee, OBT. “Ensuring that in-home mental health services are available will provide accessible support and stability to people across northwestern Wisconsin.”
