BALDWIN, WI - St. Croix Regional Medical Center (SCRMC), located in Saint Croix Falls, Wisconsin, has joined Baldwin Area Medical Center (BAMC) as a sponsor hospital for Adoray Home Health & Hospice.

The collaboration is designed to add to the continuum of excellent care and services provided by SCRMC and BAMC. The partnership will also ensure that all residents of the Saint Croix River Valley have high quality home health and hospice services available to them for the long term and at the local level. Plans include expanding Adoray’s home health, home rehab, home palliative, and hospice services to the entire Wisconsin service area of SCRMC.

All three organizations share similar missions in which they are dedicated to providing exceptional care with compassion. “We are excited about partnering with SCRMC to support the excellent home health and hospice services provided by Adoray,” said Alison Page, CEO at BAMC. “Adoray is a not-for-profit agency that is owned and operated locally and our missions align well.”

While Adoray’s home health and hospice teams already provide care for residents in much of SCRMC’s service area, Adoray’s service coverage will expand north and east to include all of Burnett County and the western portion of Barron County. Efforts will be made to create a deeper bond and new opportunities for Adoray and SCRMC’s care teams to work in tandem offering more services along the health care continuum.

Mary Troftgruben, Adoray’s CEO said, “Through this new partnership with SCRMC, we will be able to work more closely to meet the needs of our mutual patients with the patient directing the care they chose. Adoray has had an alliance with BAMC for several years and it has been advantageous for both of our organizations and for the patients in our communities. We are looking forward to cultivating the same type of relationship with SCRMC and the communities they serve.”

Noting the unmistakable synergy of the two organizations, Laura Jensen, VP of Patient Care Services at SCRMC, said, “We are blending the expertise and compassionate hearts of our care teams knowing that together they will be dedicated to meeting the needs of our patients and their families. If we can ease the journey and bring comfort to those we serve, then we will have accomplished our goals.”

As Adoray’s palliative and hospice services become increasingly requested in this newly expanded service area, additional hospice care volunteers living in northern Polk, Burnett, and western Barron counties will be needed.
