WOODVILLE, WI – Every day, people are tricked into giving away personal information that makes them susceptible to loss of privacy, loss of finances, and to becoming prey to scams and fraud. As a service to the public, Zion Lutheran Church is hosting a “Scams and Internet Safety Event” on Sunday, February 24 at 10:30 a.m. in the Church Fellowship Halls located at 221 Lockwood Street, Woodville, WI 54028.

We have invited local law enforcement experts to give a brief presentation about some of the more common ways people are defrauded and how to protect themselves from these scams.

There is no cost for this informational event and refreshments will be provided.
