WOODVILLE, WI – Every day, people are tricked into giving away personal information that makes them susceptible to loss of privacy, loss of finances, and to becoming prey to scams and fraud. As a service to the public, Zion Lutheran Church is hosting a “Scams and Internet Safety Event” on Sunday, February 24 at 10:30 a.m. in the Church Fellowship Halls located at 221 Lockwood Street, Woodville, WI 54028.

  • WOODVILLE, WI – Come join us for The Woodville American Legion Pancake Breakfast on February 24, 2019 at American Legion Post 301 located at 206 Main Street, Woodville, WI from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.

    The menu will include pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, milk, coffee and orange juice. Free will donation is appreciated.

  • RIVER FALLS, WI – Kim Ashford will present information on utilizing the FamilyTree on the FamilySearch website. She will discuss the idea of one global tree, how to add individuals, correct information, add sources, and provide hints on using this feature of FamilySearch.org.

  • WOODVILLE, WI – The monthly meeting of the Botany Belles & Beaus Garden Club will be held on Thursday, February 21 at 6:30 p.m., at the Baldwin Town Hall, 2399 90th Ave., Baldwin.

    The program will be "Clean Up Your Act: Natural Soaps" presented by Candy Sykora. Candy creates soaps using natural ingredients from local sources. She will also have a demonstration table.

    The information on diabetes is ever changing and with those updates, we form conversation, by sharing ideas. The learning is from each contribution.
  • ST. PAUL, MN — The American Red Cross is reissuing its emergency call for blood and platelet donors to give now after multiple snow storms, frigid temperatures and the government shutdown further reduced lifesaving donations.

  • BALDWIN, WI – The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP), in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Extension (UWEX), is hosting several food safety trainings required for Wisconsin fresh produce growers who must meet federal produce safety rules.

  • BALDWIN, WI – The Tuesday Community Supper is served the first Tuesday of every month at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 1350 Florence Street, Baldwin, Wisconsin, 54002. 

    This is a free meal open to anyone in the community, served from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Area churches, businesses, and organizations take turns preparing and serving good nutritious food every month.

    WOODVILLE, WI – Everyone in Wisconsin probably knows this perky little bird, the black-capped chickadee, a year-round resident who says his name “chick-a-dee-dee”.

  • BALDWIN, WI – Pickleball is a fun, easy-to-learn game for all ages and abilities.  It is played on a badminton-sized court with a low net, paddles and a perforated ball, much like a whiffle ball.  It is similar to tennis, badminton, and ping pong. It’s an easy to learn game that is a lot of fun to play.
