SPRING VALLEY, WI – The Wisconsin Historical Society presents Great Lakes Small Streams, a traveling exhibit exploring our state’s long relationship with water and the impact we have had on our vast waterways. The historical exhibit will run Thursdays through Sundays, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Spring Valley Community Center. Admission is free with donations encouraged.

Pierce County Historical Society supplements the statewide traveling exhibit with a local exhibit that includes historical artifacts and pictures. Local topics include, fishing, steamboats, the Spring Valley floods, clamming, sawmills and gristmills. The exhibit is made possible with the help of the Spring Valley Lions Club.’
