SPRING VALLEY, WI – The Spring Valley Public Library is excited to announce two exciting adult programs happening in August!

The first is a visit from Hudson author Shelley Tougas. Ms. Tougas writes juvenile fiction and won the Wisconsin Literacy Council Award for Children’s Literature for her most recent publication titled “Laura Ingalls Wilder is Ruining My Life.”

  • MENOMONIE, WI — WESTconsin Credit Union is collecting school supplies and monetary donations for families in need, August 1-11. Donations can be made at any WESTconsin Credit Union location and online at westconsincu.org. All proceeds will be delivered by WESTconsin Staff to local schools and organizations for distribution.   • SPRING VALLEY, WI – St. John's Lutheran Church, Spring Valley, WI invites you to attend our annual Chicken Feed on Thursday, July 26, 5 p.m.-7 p.m. St. John's members and youth will be serving grilled chicken, baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, chips, desserts, drinks, and fellowship in their fellowship hall.

Donations can be made at any WESTconsin location including, Baldwin and Spring Valley. All proceeds will be delivered by the credit union to local food pantries for distribution.

  • 100 Inspirational Women Who Can event
    SPRING VALLEY, WI – All women in Spring Valley are invited to join a group of women for a fun night to socialize at the Spring Valley Golf Course at S345 Hidden Fox Court, Spring Valley, WI on Thursday, April 19, 2018, from 5:30-7:00pm.
  • SPRING LAKE, WI – All are welcome to this annual event served by the men of the Spring Lake Lutheran Church.  Wednesday, April 11, 2018, 4 to 7 p.m.  Menu includes pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, fresh maple syrup, and applesauce.

  • SPRING VALLEY, WI – The Empty Bowls Project is an international effort to raise money and awareness in the fight to end hunger. The project started 25 years ago and has spread worldwide. Spring Valley Schools joined the project during the 2014/2015 school year and now we host our own Empty Bowls event.

  • SPRING VALLEY, WI – Emmaus Church in Spring Valley will be hosting a simulcast site for the Parent’s Summit – a one-day conference on Saturday, February 24. The conference works to equip and encourage parents as they deal with the real demands of parenting in the 21st century. This year’s key speaker is author Lysa TerKeurst, as well as speakers Josh Straub, Ron Deal, Natasha Crain and Pat Quinn.

  • WESTERN WI – WESTconsin Credit Union offices are collecting non-perishable food products and cash donations for families in need from December 11-16.

    Items can be dropped off at any WESTconsin location including Altoona, Amery, Baldwin, Barron, Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, Ellsworth, Hudson, Menomonie (North, Downtown and East), New Richmond, Prescott, River Falls and Spring Valley. All proceeds will be delivered by the credit union to local food pantries for distribution.

  • TOWN OF SPRING LAKE, WI – The ladies of the Spring Lake Lutheran Church will hold their annual Christmas Cookie Sale on Saturday, December 2, 2017 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until all are sold.
