STRONG BODIES FITNESS SESSIONS: Every Tuesday and Thursday through November 29 (except Thanksgiving, November 22) 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at Spring Valley Village Hall, Community Room. This is a fitness series developed by a physician, designed for 55+, focusing on overall strengthening, balancing activities, uses various weights, is adaptive to varying abilities. MEMORY CAFÉ: A social get-together for older adults. Held Tuesdays: November 13 and 27, 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, S520 Church Ave., Spring Valley, WI 54767. Amy Luther, our new Pierce County Dementia Care Specialist, will attend the Memory Cafe at St. John’s Lutheran Church on November 27. We will meet from 10:00-11:30 to have coffee and treats while we talk about living with dementia and how to support care partners. We want to start a support group in Spring Valley that will serve our care partners while we provide a social time for those with dementia.
