PRESCOTT, WI – The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northwest Region will hold a public involvement meeting to discuss improvements to WIS 29 between US 10 and South Junction County Trunk Highway QQ in Pierce County. The meeting is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the Prescott City Hall located at 800 Borner Street, Prescott, Wisconsin 54021.

The meeting will be an informal open house. Exhibits showing the plan concepts will be on display. Project representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.

This project involves removing the existing concrete pavement and replacing it with new asphalt, replacing 11 culvert pipes, and removing and installing new guardrail. The project is expected to take place, at the earliest, during the 2021 construction season. This project will be detoured during construction. The proposed WIS 29 detour route will utilize US 10 and WIS 65. 

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions concerning the project.
