BALDWIN, WI – The UW-Extension Eau Claire and St. Croix County offices are hosting two educational workshops on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 focusing on starting a beef enterprise. This workshop will be useful for those new to raising beef or adding beef to a dairy operation.

The So You Want to Raise Beef? Workshop will discuss marketing, breeding strategies for beef and dairy, facilities and nutrition for beef or dairy crossbred beef. Speakers include David Kammel, Biological Systems Engineering UW-Madison, Logan Edenfield, Equity Livestock, and Matt Akins, UW-Madison Dairy Management Specialist. 

This workshop will be held from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm at two locations: the Eau Claire County Ag Service & Education Center, 227 1st Street W, Altoona, and the St. Croix County Ag Service and Education Center, 1960 8th Ave, Baldwin.
