  • BALDWIN, WI -- United Fire and Rescue-Baldwin Station will be holding their annual Smelt Fry on Friday, April 26.  Serving starts at 11:00 a.m. – till we run out - at the American Legion in Baldwin, Wisconsin.

  • NEW CENTERVILLE, WI – There will be a Pancake Supper & Bake Sale at New Centerville United Methodist Church, 36 County Road Y, south of Baldwin. The hours will be 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

  • BALDWIN, WI – The monthly meeting of the Botany Belles & Beaus Garden Club will be held on Wednesday, April 17 at 6:30 p.m., at the Baldwin Town Hall (2399 90th Ave., Baldwin). The evening’s program will focus on low-maintenance and flowering shrubs. Bryan Gjevre, our presenter, owns Gold Finch Flower Farm on HWY 12 and grows a variety of shrubs for sale to retail flower shops.

  • ST. PAUL, MN – The American Red Cross encourages eligible donors to give blood or platelets during National Volunteer Month this April. Eligible donors of all blood types – especially type O – are needed to help ensure blood products are available for patients this spring.

Moore in Pierce and St. Croix County reminds foreign investors with an interest in agricultural lands in the United States that they are required to report their land holdings and transactions to USDA.

  • BALDWIN, WI – The St. Croix County Deer Advisory Council (CDAC) will meet to review data and form preliminary 2019 antlerless quota, permit and season structure recommendations. This meeting will be held at DNR Service Center, 890 Spruce St. on March 12 starting at 7:00 p.m.

  • ST. PAUL, MN – The American Red Cross (ARC) has a severe shortage of type O blood and urges type O donors – as well as eligible blood and platelet donors of all blood types – to give now to ensure lifesaving patient care isn’t impacted this winter.

    Type O blood is the most in-demand blood type, helping patients facing life-threatening conditions and emergencies every day. Type O negative blood can be transfused to patients with any blood type and is what emergency room personnel reach for when there’s no time to determine a patient’s blood type.

    The program will be "Clean Up Your Act: Natural Soaps" presented by Candy Sykora. Candy creates soaps using natural ingredients from local sources. She will also have a demonstration table.
