WOODVILLE, WI – The monthly meeting of the Botany Belles & Beaus Garden Club will be held on Thursday, February 21 at 6:30 p.m., at the Baldwin Town Hall, 2399 90th Ave., Baldwin.

The program will be "Clean Up Your Act: Natural Soaps" presented by Candy Sykora. Candy creates soaps using natural ingredients from local sources. She will also have a demonstration table.

  • ST. PAUL, MN — The American Red Cross is reissuing its emergency call for blood and platelet donors to give now after multiple snow storms, frigid temperatures and the government shutdown further reduced lifesaving donations.

  • BALDWIN, WI – The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP), in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Extension (UWEX), is hosting several food safety trainings required for Wisconsin fresh produce growers who must meet federal produce safety rules.

  • BALDWIN, WI – The Tuesday Community Supper is served the first Tuesday of every month at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 1350 Florence Street, Baldwin, Wisconsin, 54002. 

    This is a free meal open to anyone in the community, served from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Area churches, businesses, and organizations take turns preparing and serving good nutritious food every month.

  • BALDWIN, WI – Come see what is happening in diabetes these days at the Diabetes Group meeting on Tuesday, January 22 at 7 p.m. at Western Wisconsin Health.

  • Women’s Winter Warm Up

    BALDWIN, WI – Worn out by the holiday season and unexpected events in your life? Join with the women of First Reformed Church and have your faith recharged by Mina Carlson’s presentation.

  • BALDWIN, WI – Pickleball is a fun, easy-to-learn game for all ages and abilities.  It is played on a badminton-sized court with a low net, paddles and a perforated ball, much like a whiffle ball.  It is similar to tennis, badminton, and ping pong. It’s an easy to learn game that is a lot of fun to play.

  • BALDWIN, WI – Tuesday Community Supper - There will not be a Tuesday Community Supper in January 2019 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church because the first Tuesday falls on New Year’s Day. See you Tuesday, February 5!

  • BALDWIN, WI – The Christian Reformed Church, 1 mile north of Baldwin, will be hosting the Blessings Gospel Trio in concert on Sunday evening, Dec. 23 at 5:00 p.m. This is a free event and all are welcome. 

    The Blessings Gospel Trio is a family group consisting of two brothers, Bob and Tim, and their uncle Jerry. Their music is a blend of folk, southern gospel, and bluegrass sounds that emphasize the Gospel message with clear vocals using three-part harmonies. 

  • BALDWIN, WI – The Barron and St. Croix County UW-Extension offices will be offering two in-person BQA trainings in December.  

    The first will be on Wednesday, December 12, at the Barron County Government Center, 335 E. Monroe Ave, Barron, WI.  The second will be on Tuesday, December 18, at the S. Croix County Ag Service & Education Center, 1960 8th Ave, Baldwin, WI. 

  • BALDWIN, WI – The UW-Extension Eau Claire and St. Croix County offices are hosting two educational workshops on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 focusing on starting a beef enterprise. This workshop will be useful for those new to raising beef or adding beef to a dairy operation.

  • BALDWIN, WI - In cooperation with local businesses, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources staff will collect deer heads for chronic wasting disease (CWD) surveillance in Saint Croix and Pierce counties for testing during the 2018 archery, crossbow and gun hunting seasons.
