BALDWIN, WI – The Tuesday Community Supper is served the first Tuesday of every month at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 1350 Florence Street, Baldwin, Wisconsin, 54002. 

This is a free meal open to anyone in the community, served from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.  Area churches, businesses and organizations take turns preparing and serving good nutritious food every month.

  • BALDWIN, WI – Fall is here and the cooler days are coming.  The “Diabetes Support Group” gets into full swing again.  The items that are new, the support that is always good and the advances in general make for good conversation.  Bring what you are reading about and we can discuss.  The usual date is the fourth Tuesday of Sept, Oct and November.  After the Holidays we resume in January through May again.

  • BALDWIN, WI – The Windmill Piecemaker’s Quilt Guild will be meeting on Monday, September 24, 2018 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 1350 Florence Street, Baldwin, Wisconsin. All are welcome to visit, and this is a great time for new members to join us!

  • PRAIRIE DU SAC, WI – Participating Culver’s restaurants in Wisconsin will donate a percentage of their sales on Thursday, September 20, to the American Red Cross- Wisconsin Flood Relief Fund to help aid the relief efforts for those affected by the unprecedented flooding in Wisconsin. A percentage of sales will be collected on every menu item sold from the time each restaurant opens until it closes on September 20.

  • TOWN OF BALDWIN, WI -- The monthly meeting of the Botany Belles & Beaus Garden Club will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018, 6:30 p.m. at the Baldwin Town Hall. A program on "Herbal Teas from the Garden" will be presented by club member Dorene Deiss.

  • BALDWIN, WI – Interested in beekeeping? The St. Croix Valley Beekeepers Association’s next meeting is Thursday, September 13, at Peace Lutheran Church, 2084 County Road N, Baldwin, Wisconsin.

  • MENOMONIE, WI — WESTconsin Credit Union is collecting school supplies and monetary donations for families in need, August 1-11. Donations can be made at any WESTconsin Credit Union location and online at westconsincu.org. All proceeds will be delivered by WESTconsin Staff to local schools and organizations for distribution.   • MINNEAPOLIS, MN — As part of an international movement, the American Red Cross is launching the Missing Types campaign today to recruit new blood donors – and those who have not given recently – to ensure lifesaving blood is available for patients.

    During the Missing Types campaign, the letters A, B and O – the main blood groups – will disappear from brands, social media pages, signs and websites to illustrate the critical role every blood donor plays. When the letters A, B and O vanish from everyday life, the gaps are striking. And when A, B and O blood types are missing from hospital shelves, patient care could be impacted.
