Willow River State Park Presents Fall Color Hike: Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 10AM. At the Pink/Burkhardt Trail Head. Please join us on this 2-mile hike which starts at a river bottom and walk up to the woods to view some spectacular overlooks at the fall colors. You can even walk down to the falls on this hike. Kinnickinnic State Park Presents Fall Color Hike: Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 10AM. At the Pink/Hidden Falls Trail Head. Please join us on this 3-mile hike which starts in a prairie and loops through pine and hardwood forests. Enjoy the falls colors as you view some overlooks overlooking at the Kinnickinnic and St. Croix River.  Event is FREE to attend and vehicle admission into the park is required. Join Friends of Willow River and Kinnickinnic State Parks and PowerUp on this fun, even spooky evening with free snacks, crafts, storytelling and more. Don't forget to wear your costume! Willow River State Park Presents Hibernators of Wisconsin: Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 1-2PM. At the Nature Center. This family friendly event will teach you about the animals in the park that will be hibernating. Why do animals hibernate and what do they do to prepare to hibernate. Learn through a short PowerPoint game on who hibernates and then join the naturalist on a quick hike to see some signs of those hibernators and non-hibernators.
