SPRING VALLEY, WI - The Spring Valley volleyball team finished directly in the middle of the conference standings at the end of the season.

But injuries hampered the Cardinals throughout the season, and as a result, had just one player receive any All-Conference honors, but that one player was a major contributor to the team.

Junior Camryn Wegner earned second team honors for the Cardinals as a solid contributor both offensively and defensively.

Wegner was second in the conference, and the team leader, in assists with 255 sets. She also led the team in serves with 140, with 16 aces. She was also second on the team in digs with 114, and third on the team in blocks with 15.

“Camryn was a definite team leader for us this year,” said Head Coach Geoff Snyder. “She played like a leader, with a lot of composure. She was steady for us all season long.”

The good news for the Cardinals is that Wegner will be back next year.

Here is a complete list of the All-Conference honorees.
