Elmwood students Pulk and Sabelko named to Dean's List at UW-River Falls

RIVER FALLS, WI - The University of Wisconsin-River Falls fall semester Dean's List honoring 1,172 students has been released by Interim Registrar Kelly Browning.

    Minnesota State Mankato announces 2016 Fall Semester Dean's List

    MANKATO, MN- The Academic High Honor and Honor lists (Dean's lists) for the past fall semester at Minnesota State University, Mankato have been announced by Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Marilyn Wells. Sophomore Emily Hoyt of Elmwood has been named to the Honor List.

    MADISON, WI - The Spring Valley/Elmwood wrestling team sent five individuals to the state wrestling meet this past weekend, three of them came home with some hardware.

    INDEPENDENCE, WI - The Spring Valley/Elmwood wrestling team brought five wrestlers to the WIAA Individual Sectional tournament this past weekend. Those same five wrestlers are in Madison today as they all advanced to the WIAA Individual State Tournament this week.

  • MOUNT VERNON, IA – Georgia Gump of Elmwood was one of over 200 Cornell College students named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2016 semester. Gump earned Highest Honors. Honors signifies a semester grade point average of 3.6 to 3.79; High Honors signifies an average of 3.8 to 3.99; and Highest Honors signifies a 4.0 grade point average.

  • SV Wrestling takes another regional title; 5 advance to individual sectionals

    CLEAR LAKE, WI – For the sixth straight year the Spring Valley/Elmwood wrestling team has advanced to the team sectional tournament, this time by the slightest of margins.

  • EPC & EHS athletes earn All-Conference Honors

    ELMWOOD, WI – Several EPC and Elmwood athletes earned post-season honors this fall in their respective sports while representing the Wolves and the Raiders.

  • MENOMONIE, WI - Scholarships valued at more than $760,000 were awarded to 380 University of Wisconsin-Stout students this year through the Stout University Foundation.

    From Baldwin, Katelyn Dobson, Family and Consumer Sciences Education, Margaret Harper Scholarship and Jane Rosenthal Endowed Scholarship; Goodman Family Endowed Scholarship.

  • LA CROSSE, WI – The season came to an end in La Crosse last Friday for the EPC Wolves, after a disappointing 21-7 loss to the De Soto Pirates.  \The first round loss means the Wolves finish the 2016 season with a 7-3 record, and a share of the SLC title.

    The game remained scoreless until just before the end of the first half, when De Soto struck first with 56 seconds left on a five yard touchdown run.

  • DURAND, WI – EPC junior Kassye Todd will make a return trip to the WIAA State Cross Country meet after finishing second last Saturday in the Division 3 Sectional Championship at Rolling Green Golf Course in Durand.

    Todd finished with a time of 20:07.5, seven seconds behind sectional champion Erica Kallstrom of Colfax.

  • Wolves share SLC title; travel to LAX to face DeSoto in WIAA Level 1 Play-offs

    ELMWOOD, WI - A loss by the Pepin-Alma Eagles, coupled with a Wolves 23-21 win over the Clear Lake Warriors on October 7, gave EPC the chance for a piece of the SLC title on October 14.  The Wolves then made that dream a reality after a solid 48-7 win at Shell Lake in their final game of the regular season.

  • ELMWOOD, WI – It took all of five games, but the Raiders were able to knock off the Plum City Blue Devils last week by a 3-2 margin.

    Elmwood won the first game 25-17, before losing the second 26-24. The Raiders came back to win game three handily, 25-11, but then lost another close one, 26-24, sending the match into the final game.

  • Wolves bounce back after HC loss to Pepin-Alma

    ELMWOOD, WI – After a disappointing 42-15 Homecoming loss to a strong Pepin-Alma team the previous week, the EPC Wolves bounced back last Friday with a 20-7 road win over Lake Holcombe/Cornell.
