Ronald Ferber, age 77 of Baldwin, Wisconsin formerly of Wilson, Wisconsin died Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at his home in Baldwin.
Ronald was born June 20, 1939 to William and Irene (Wagner) Ferber at Hatchville, Wisconsin. He attended school at Elmwood and lived all his life in the Elmwood, Spring Valley and Baldwin areas. Ronald worked many years for Hart Ski and also West Industries.
On October 11, 1958 he was married to Patricia DeLong at St John’s Lutheran Church in Spring Valley. They were blessed with four children.
One of his favorite hobbies was Pony Pulling. He also enjoyed playing ball and cards and watching most any sport on TV. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and bird watching.
Preceding him in death were his parents; son Tony; sisters Marlys Roger and Barbara O’Connel and brother Lyle Ferber.
He is survived by his wife Patricia; children: Mike (Terry) Ferber of Woodville; Rogjel (Scott) Weber of Elmwood; and Carla (Brett) Anderson of Beldenville; and daughter-in-law Kathy Ferber of Menomonie; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two sisters: Shirley (Keith) Sands of Eau Galle; and Ileen Stein of Texas; two brothers: Billy (Judy) Ferber of Altoona and Allen (Lolita) Ferber of Barron; two sisters-in-law: Delores (Ed) Ferber Jr of Hatchville and Maxine Witt of Baldwin; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Visitation was on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. at Keehr Funeral Home. An evening service was held at 7 p.m. following the visitation.
Honorary bearers were Phil Pax, Rick Pax, Earl Butteris and Richard Butteris.
