Linda (Halverson) Taylor, formerly of Spring Valley, WI died Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica, California.
Linda was born November 10, 1946 in Spring Valley, WI. She was the daughter of Howard and Hazel Halverson and grew up in Spring Valley, WI area. Linda graduated from Spring Valley High in 1964.
After high school Linda worked in St. Paul, MN where she met her husband Jim. They later moved to Anchorage, Alaska where they raised their three children: Jeff, Chuck, and Suzie.
Linda worked for the US Postal Service until she retired in 2011. In her retirement she enjoyed traveling and being with family and friends very much.
Linda will be sadly missed by her husband, two sons, Jeff Taylor, Chuck Taylor, daughter Suzie (Taylor) Smith, son-in-law Erick and her grandson Bentley all of Anchorage, Alaska. As well as by her granddaughters Jordan and Rienne of Seattle, WA; her brother Rodger Halverson and his wife Gwen of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; twin sister Luella (Halverson) Johnson and her husband Bob of Mesa, AZ. Many nieces, nephews, family and friends will miss her dearly. Linda is preceded in death by her parents Hazel and Howard Halverson.
Memorial services will be held March 24, 2017 in Anchorage, Alaska.
