Crystal Louise (Dial) Bloecher, January 12, 1942 – February 20, 2017, was born to Hazel (Gesche) and Russel Dial in Minneapolis and graduated from Spring Valley High, WI.
Crystal attended the U of M where she met her husband Ulrich Bloecher. They married on May 18, 1963. Crystal was a lab pathologist for decades before retiring to run Hilltop Produce farm with Ulrich.
She loved gardening, reading, classical music, and experiencing other cultures through travel. She passionately supported human and animal rights and was a volunteer for many years at the Science Museum of MN. She taught Norwegian and was a member of the Sons of Norway and Mindekirken. She is preceded in death by parents and husband.
She is survived by daughters Brigitte (Richard Stambaugh) and Ellen (Robert Williams), granddaughters Emma Stambaugh, Erica Stambaugh, Kaylee Williams, and siblings Jeffrey (Kathleen) Dial and Wendy (Dale) Marcott.
A private Celebration of Life to be scheduled. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
