WOODVILLE, WI – The Woodville Lions Club had a great turnout for their 34th Annual Super Bowl Breakfast on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at the Lions Den.
You made it SUPER; it was a fantastic turnout with almost all of the food consumed. There was no toast, pancakes, or milk left at the end of the delicious meal that featured those world famous golden brown pancakes, scrumptious home fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, delectable link sausage, toast and beverages all for a good will donation.
According to Lion Jeff Schneider, there were 90 pounds of potatoes, 8 pounds of onions, 80 pounds of Nilssen’s Foods link sausages, 34 pounds of pancake mix, 30 loafs of bread, 50 dozen eggs, 12 pounds of butter, 8 gallons of white and 6 of chocolate milk, 7 gallons of orange juice consumed at this year’s Lions Super Bowl Breakfast.
Club President Rick Torgerson said, “Thank you to everyone in the community who attended the 34th Annual Super Bowl Breakfast and supported the Woodville Lions. We will be using the funds for a donation to purchase an automated external defibrillator (AED) for the Woodville Senior Center and improvements at Steven Park.
We had great volunteer help from our Club members, and I thank every one of them. A big thank you also to our financial contributors, that included the Larry Anderson Family again this year!”
