WOODVILLE, WI – Antiques appraiser extraordinaire Mark Moran will be in Woodville for the 4th Annual “What’s it Worth?” program on Saturday, October 21, 2017 starting at 10 AM.  This fun and interesting annual event will be held at the Lion’s Den (Woodville Community Hall) located upstairs on Main Street in Woodville.

This is the Fall fund raiser for the Woodville Historical Society.  If you have always wondered what Great Grandma’s vase is worth, if anything; now is the time to find out.

There is a reasonable $15 fee per item for the appraisal, a portion of which goes to the Historical Society.  If you have a house full of antiques, you can make arrangements for a home visit for a $75 fee.

Every year there are surprising treasures unburied here in Woodville.  Please sign up in advance by calling 715-698-2382 to reserve your spot.  Signing up the day of the show is possible if there is still space available.

Even if you do not have an item to be appraised come and enjoy the show. Mr. Moran is both informative and extremely entertaining.  He often recounts stories from the PBS series “Antiques Roadshow” of which he is a guest appraiser.  Refreshments will be served by the Historical Society.

The Historical Society plans to be open the second Saturday of each month from 9 AM to noon.  New items and donations come in all the time so there is always something new to see.

The building will also be open by appointment by calling 715-698-2382.  Upcoming events will be posted in the window of the museum.
