Elmwood Schools and American Legion Post 207 Veterans Day Service
Thursday, November 9 including presentation of the Bronze Star medal

ELMWOOD, WI – The Elmwood Crain-Ottman American Legion Post 207 and Elmwood Schools will be observing Veterans Day on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 9 a.m. in the Red Zone Gym at Elmwood Schools. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. At this service Vietnam Veteran Jim Baier will be receiving his Bronze Star medal after 48 years following his Honorable Discharge from the U.S Army.

Spring Valley Veterans Day March

SPRING VALLEY, WI – The 11th Annual Veterans Day Road March is scheduled rain or shine for Veterans Day, Saturday, November 11, 2017.

Join others in marching along Veterans Memorial Highway (Hwy 29) beginning at the Spring Valley Community Center marching west and ending at the Red Barn (the corner of Hwy 29 and Hwy 63). A large group will begin the march at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning, but feel free to leave whenever you would like, walk at your own pace or meet us somewhere along the way.For those who are unable to join us on the Annual Veterans Day March, please feel free to cheer on the marchers and celebrate with coffee and baked goods at the Spring Valley Community Center from 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. at S242 McKay Avenue, Spring Valley, WI 54767.

Woodville American Legion Post 301 and Viking Middle School
Annual Veterans Day ceremony on Friday November 10

WOODVILLE, WI – The Woodville American Legion Post 301 and Viking Middle School will conduct their annual Veterans Day ceremony on Friday November 10, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Vikings Middle School Gym. The band and choir will perform and there will also be guest speakers. The public is invited and encouraged to attend to honor our Veterans.

Veterans Day commemoration on Friday, November 10

BALDWIN, WI – The public is invited to attend a Veterans Day commemoration on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Baldwin-Woodville High School (BWHS) in the Auditorium.

There will be a program including the Baldwin Cave Dahl American Legion Post 240 honoring veterans, auxiliary, and active service members. Enjoy a presentation by BWHS forensics members, choir and band. A dinner will be served to service men and women following, in lobby.

St. Croix County Veterans Day Service
Veterans Day will be observed in Hudson on Friday, November 10

HUDSON, WI – Veterans Day will be observed in Hudson on Friday, November 10, 2017 presented by American Legion Post 50.

Veterans Day ceremonies will take place at the St. Croix County Government Center, 1101 Carmichael Road, Hudson. The program will begin at 11:00 a.m. Musical selections will be performed by the Hudson High School Band. Master of Ceremonies will be John Helgeson. Guest Speaker will be William Rouleau with Tee It Up for the Troops program.

The Veterans Memorial Honor Guard, composed of members for VFW Post 2115 and Otis H. King American Legion Post 50, will provide military honors in tribute to deceased veterans. Refreshments will be served following the ceremony.

The public is cordially invited to attend.
