SPRING VALLEY, WI – Here’s your chance to see the Bard’s most famous play on our local stage for the first time, performed with energy and passion by the cast from Spring Valley High School.

Hamlet is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare sometime between 1599 and 1602. Set in Denmark, the play depicts the revenge Prince Hamlet is called to wreak upon his uncle, Claudius, by the ghost of Hamlet’s father, King Hamlet. Claudius has murdered his own brother and seized the throne, also marrying his deceased brother’s widow, to add insult to injury. This play is considered among the most powerful and influential works of world literature and was likely one of Shakespeare’s most popular works of world literature and was likely one of Shakespeare’s most popular works during his lifetime.

Now you can see it brought to life (even the ghost) on stage in Spring Valley and judge for yourself if you are a fan of the Bard (William Shakespeare).

Come join us at the Spring Valley Theatre, opening on Thursday, November 2 with additional performances on Friday, November 3, and Saturday November 4 at 7 p.m. and a matinée on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at 1 p.m. as the talented fine cast from Spring Valley High School proudly presents William Shakespeare’s Hamlet.

Tickets are ONLY $8 for adults and $5 for students and are available at the door.
