ELMWOOD, WI – The Elmwood Public Library Director Misty Price has turned in her resignation effective January 2, 2017. Misty has been Director since May of 2016 and is leaving for a full-time job with Royal Credit Union in Eau Claire, Wisconsin (where she resides).

Misty has done a great job as director of the Elmwood Public Library, bringing fresh ideas, a love of all things library and youthful enthusiasm to the position. She will be greatly missed.

Because of Misty leaving, the Village of Elmwood and the Elmwood Public Library Committee will begin a search for a new director, which may take some time.

As a result, the Elmwood Public Library, unfortunately, may have to limit the days and hours it is open until a replacement is found.

Information on when the library will be open can be found on the Elmwood Public Library’s Facebook page.
