ELMWOOD, WI – The Village of Elmwood held their regular monthly meeting on Monday, January 8, 2018 in the dining room of the historic Elmwood Auditorium and was called to order at 7 p.m. by Village President Bill Stewart with all trustees present for the proceedings except Trustee Neil Boltik.

  • Hofacker donates more than a ton – again!

    ELMWOOD, WI – Donald Hofacker of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, has once again donated a yearly total of over 2000 pounds of groceries to the Elmwood Food Pantry! On September 27 of this year, Don and his nephew, James Mohr of North St. Paul, arrived at the pantry with a PICKUP LOAD of groceries totaling 644 pounds.

    ELMWOOD, WI – “This has bugged me for years,” said Joanne, Vietnam Veteran Jim Baier’s wife in relating how she worked with her friend Marilyn Galoff to get the paper processed for Jim’s long overdue Bronze Star Medal. This was to be a surprise for Jim. Just one problem, he had to sign the paper work and Joanne, knowing how humble her hubby is didn’t think he would want to sign the papers. But gladly he did.

In partnership with Wisconsin Counties Association (WCA) and Sargento, 12 fan-submitted photos are featured in the calendar, highlighting various Wisconsin destinations.
