BALDWIN, WI – There was another delicious free meal served at the October Tuesday Community Supper at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Baldwin on, you guessed it Tuesday, October 3.

The Tuesday Community Supper is a tasty free meal open to anyone, served the first Tuesday of every month at Gethsemane Lutheran Church. Area churches, businesses and organizations take turns preparing and serving good nutritious food every month.

This month it was St. Croix Electric Cooperative serving and Gethsemane Lutheran Church that prepared and cooked the meal and did the clean up for a well-attended October Tuesday Community Supper.

The delicious meal served was roast pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, gravy, lettuce salad, dinner roll and butter, cake and cookies with milk, coffee and water for beverages. This free dinner is a wonderful opportunity to gather with family, friends and neighbors to have a break from cooking and enjoy a little time for visiting together. Who knows you might even make some new friends there.

St. Croix Electric Cooperative comes in October as part of their celebration of National Co-op Month, with the “7th Cooperative Principle: Concern for Community,” recognized in helping Tuesday Community Supper host Gethsemane Lutheran Church serve the meal to the community. Kudos to the Gethsemane crew and the monthly coordinators of the Tuesday Community Supper who work so hard to present this monthly event in Baldwin at Gethsemane Lutheran Church!

Mark your calendar for the Tuesday Community Supper that is served the first Tuesday of every month at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 1350 Florence Street, Baldwin, Wisconsin, 54002.
