GLENWOOD CITY, WI – Our annual meeting and program will be held at the Glenwood City Community Center at 217 W. Oak St. on Sunday afternoon October 29, 2017, beginning at 2:00 p.m. The program will feature speaker Wesley Franklin. Wesley is a Glenwood City native and attends UW-River Falls. He is passionate about history, founding a Student History Club while in high school and he also serves as Vice President of the Glenwood Historical Society.

In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the United States entering World War I, Wesley will explore the beginnings of that war, why the United States entered the war three years after its onset, the conclusion and the aftermath of the war to end all wars.

Our meeting and program are open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend. We will again be offering our traditional free will donation lunch following the program.
