  • MENOMONIE, WI – WESTconsin Credit Union offices are collecting non-perishable food items and monetary donations for those less fortunate from June 4-16, 2018. Donations can be made at any WESTconsin location including, Baldwin and Spring Valley. All proceeds will be delivered by the credit union to local food pantries for distribution.

  • 100 Inspirational Women Who Can event
    SPRING VALLEY, WI – All women in Spring Valley are invited to join a group of women for a fun night to socialize at the Spring Valley Golf Course at S345 Hidden Fox Court, Spring Valley, WI on Thursday, April 19, 2018, from 5:30-7:00pm.
  • SPRING LAKE, WI – All are welcome to this annual event served by the men of the Spring Lake Lutheran Church.  Wednesday, April 11, 2018, 4 to 7 p.m.  Menu includes pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, fresh maple syrup, and applesauce.

  • SPRING VALLEY, WI – The Empty Bowls Project is an international effort to raise money and awareness in the fight to end hunger. The project started 25 years ago and has spread worldwide. Spring Valley Schools joined the project during the 2014/2015 school year and now we host our own Empty Bowls event.

    SENIORS LUNCH: Every week Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday – 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Sneakers.

  • SPRING VALLEY, WI – Emmaus Church in Spring Valley will be hosting a simulcast site for the Parent’s Summit – a one-day conference on Saturday, February 24. The conference works to equip and encourage parents as they deal with the real demands of parenting in the 21st century. This year’s key speaker is author Lysa TerKeurst, as well as speakers Josh Straub, Ron Deal, Natasha Crain and Pat Quinn.

  • WESTERN WI – WESTconsin Credit Union offices are collecting non-perishable food products and cash donations for families in need from December 11-16.

    Items can be dropped off at any WESTconsin location including Altoona, Amery, Baldwin, Barron, Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, Ellsworth, Hudson, Menomonie (North, Downtown and East), New Richmond, Prescott, River Falls and Spring Valley. All proceeds will be delivered by the credit union to local food pantries for distribution.

  • TOWN OF SPRING LAKE, WI – The ladies of the Spring Lake Lutheran Church will hold their annual Christmas Cookie Sale on Saturday, December 2, 2017 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until all are sold. 

  • SPRING VALLEY, WI – Please join us for the Spring Valley Community Ecumenical Service 2017. This year it will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Wednesday November 22, 2017, at 7:00 p.m.

  • MENOMONIE, WI – This holiday season, WESTconsin Credit Union (WCU) will host The Mitten Tree campaign—a Kindness Counts initiative. Each office will display The Mitten Tree—a tree in its lobby decorated with donated mittens, gloves, hats, scarfs and more.

    The purpose of The Mitten Tree is to collect cold weather apparel and accessories for those in need as the winter season’s sub-zero temperatures set in. Last year, the credit union collected 2,250 items and $2,747.46 in support of this cause.

  • SPRING VALLEY, WI – The 11th Annual Spring Valley Trick-Or-Treating For Canned Goods will have students (some may be in costume) will be going door to door collecting food pantry items on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 in the Village of Spring Valley, to benefit the Spring Valley Food Pantry.

    We will begin collecting items at 5:30 pm on Halloween evening.

  • Red Cross and Sport Clips Haircuts offer free haircut coupon to blood and platelet donors

    ST. PAUL, MN – Feel good, do good and look good this September by donating blood or platelets with the American Red Cross and get a free haircut coupon from Sport Clips Haircuts. Blood and platelet donors of all blood types, especially type O negative and O positive, are urgently needed to replenish the blood supply following a critical summer blood shortage.

  • SPRING VALLEY, WI -- The SV class of ’71 is having annual reunions beginning with  Saturday, August 12, 2017. Will be held at Rick and Peg’s Pleasant View party shed 1-4 p.m.

  • SPRING VALLEY, WI -- Rivers Apostolic Center is pleased to be hosting a special community outreach event on the weekend of July 21-23, 2017, at the Eau Galle Recreation Area park. We are calling it The Flood 2017, and we have planned it to be a fun time for families and individuals.
