Members of Spring Lake Lutheran Church are excited to announce that "The Elvis Gospel Show" is coming to their little copper top church in the Valley on October 21.

The man behind Elvis is Joe Sir, who has been a pastor for eleven years in the New Richmond and Baldwin areas. He started singing like Elvis at nursing homes all over the Twin Cities for his sister in-law who was the entertainment director for such.

It was so popular that he incorporated the performance into his family band The Sir Brothers and performed all over the Midwest. Since feeling the calling to ministry, he now presents the gospel of truth, of the life saving message of salvation through Jesus Christ by the music and life of one of the most well known performers of all time. And how Elvis, even with all the fame and fortune, never lost sight of who is the true King.

He will be performing his inspirational "The Elvis Gospel Show" at Spring Lake Lutheran Church's Fall Festival on Sunday, October 21 at 10:30. The church is located four miles southeast of Spring Valley at Cty. Rd. B & Hwy. 128.

A Harvest Dinner will follow at 11:30 with ham and potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw, rolls, homemade pies, and beverages. There will be a free will offering and all are welcome!
